Tallinn Dance
Tallinn, the jewel in Estonia's crown, a wonderful picture postcard town, provided you
face away from the developments outside the town wall. The demonstration of the towns
dancing when we visited was a perfect period set of group dances. This piece was
almost complete when we visited in August 2003, so it was fitting to connect the work
and the visits memory in one. The work here is still a work in progress, inspired by
the dancing above, the most haunting part expressing the joys of past generations.
